Natalie Locke
Natalie Locke advises producers, production companies, financiers, talent, and media companies across film, television, digital media, music, and branded content. With more than fifteen years of entertainment and media legal experience, her practice includes production legal, development, financing, rights clearance, chain of title, distribution, licensing, publishing, soundtrack, intellectual property, artificial intelligence and general business affairs matters.
Natalie has served as development, financing, production, and distribution counsel on more than fifty scripted and unscripted features, series, specials, and branded content projects released on major platforms including Apple TV+, HBO Max, NBCUniversal, Netflix, PrimeVideo and Disney/Hulu. Recent production counsel credits include Good Sports: Season One (Hartbeat), Kevin Hart: Acting My Age (Hartbeat), Hart to Heart, Season Four (Hartbeat), Mr. Scorsese (Presser Films), Sasha Reid and the Midnight Order (XTR/Asteria), Diane Warren: Relentless (XTR/Asteria), Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost (XTR/Asteria), Trophy Wife: Murder On Safari (XTR/Asteria), Stress Positions (NEON), Homeroom (Concordia), and the Ringer Films Music Box Film Series (Ringer Music Box). Natalie is also a consulting producer on the Frontline/Ramona Diaz’s documentary And So It Begins, which premiered at Sundance.

Natalie skillfully works with producers, executives, talent counsel, financiers, distributors and production teams to structure deals, resolve rights, clearance, guild, and union issues, and move projects efficiently through development, production, delivery, and exploitation. She is skilled at high pressure complex negotiations. Natalie previously practiced as a copyright and trademark litigator and has appeared before the Northern and Central District Courts of California.
Natalie was featured as a “New Leader in Hollywood” by Variety Magazine in 2023 and has lectured for the UCLA Producing Program and on fair use for the Lewis & Clark School of Law. Natalie enjoys film festivals and has been a SWSX film mentor. Natalie graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Law and UCLA magna cum laude. She is a yogi and mother of two.
